February 7, 2013

Tim Carmody is remaining chief of the Fort Dodge Police Department and that is good news for the city....

It's the "water walkers" who seem to rule these days: example: Obama. No experience necessary! Not that I'd put Carmody in that category, FDFIRST, for his CV is excellent.

OK Taxed...hypothetically...say they were to offer you a promotion to Head Fry Basket Manager on the night shift. Would you move for that?

BigSlik1944, reread my post. I said most people would do the same thing as the chief if the chance arises. I personally have most of my family in this area and I am happy in what I do. It would take a mighty big offer to get me to move. I think if you asked Carmondy it was about moving closer to his family then about money. Life is short an being close to family is more important then money sometimes.

justwords, it must be painful to be as misinformed as you are all the time even though you act like your god and think you know and see all. Perhaps you need more fiber or maybe more toilet paper....

I'd give him a raise. Anyone who has to put up with what He does, deserves it. IT's ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!

So, taxed and fd, does that mean you wouldn't move it you considered it a move that would better your standings in life?

He will leave in a heart beat if the chance arises again. And that is what most people would do. Fort Dodge is never going to be an Omaha or a Des Moines no matter how much money we waste for prarie grass and tombstones all around town.

Keep the resume ready, I hear there may be an opening in Carroll.
