Sharon, after innumerable accidents at an intersection here, they put in a two-lane traffic circle; two years later, not a single accident there, even with our extensive population of old dogs! But it was PROPERLY designed, I will admit.

I agree. My understanding is they want to put one maybe two of those on the new CTC when we get it. How awesome is that going to be? Please people learn about these new things. While you are learning about traffic circles please read up on suicide lanes and learn how to use them properly also.

We have drivers who forget what streets are one ways and go the wrong way on them...repetitively. Watch 1st Ave s. near city hall for awhile and you will see what I mean. I also noticed a street or two that used to be one way but has changed to two way...But still have one way lane markings. White lines mean one way, yellow lines mean two way...wrong color on the wrong road equals confusion.
