Firstly, I hate the word 'cage' it sounds so much like jail rather than home. I agree with having such a great facility and fabulous staff of care takers who are so hands on with these wonderful animals! They are so loving and caring, it really makes me happy to see them enjoy their jobs as much as they do. On a sour note, I am a little concerned with the new changes at the shelter recently. There is no management on staff? One person who is not even hands on animal caretaker? Who is making all of the decisions now? I asked a question to one of the staff members about who is boss now, and just got a shrug of shoulders. It seems very tense around there, and these employees seem a little lost with all this change, and no real person to answer their questions, or assist with pet concerns? I myself am concerned, and hope this shelter is not failing, without someone knowledgable to stand up and do the work.

It appears there are going to be many more new changes, as new people are hired and start taking over the boss's positions. I reallyhope the current staff stays on, and continues to fight the good fight. never give up people! These animals need you as much as you need them!!!Keep your head up.
