Paul Lynch, left, owned Woodman Wireless, 18 N. 12th St., for 19 years before selling it to Brian Gargano. Gargano said he plans to keep up the same level of customer service in operating the business, which deals with Verizon Wireless mobile phones and products.
There’s a new boss in the office at Woodman Wireless.
After 19 years, Paul Lynch decided to sell Woodman, a Verizon Wireless agent that also operates a location in the Crossroads Mall, to Humboldt native Brian Gargano.
Customers, however, are unlikely to notice too many changes, according to Gargano.
“My main goal is to provide the same level of service or better,” Gargano said. “Paul has done a tremendous job building this business through top-notch service.”
In particular, Gargano said he wants to keep up the tradition of trying to fix malfunctioning mobile phones, rather than forcing the customer to buy new.
“Very few Verizon agents do that,” he said.
Gargano said he will keep both Woodman locations open.
“People like dealing with both,” he said.
All of the same employees will also remain on staff, Gargano said.
