| | The Triple WMarch 9, 2011 - Regina SmithWarm, Warmer & Warmest The triple W for this week will be Warm, Warmer & Warmest! As the snow falls and I sink back into the white snow instead of the white sand that was beneath my feet last week in the Bahamas I wish for the warmer longer days! This weekend will bring a great start to both with the clocks springing forward and the Home and Garden Expo going on! The Messenger’s Home and Garden Expo held Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week and will have all the signs of spring! Landscapers will be set up, gardening experts, home improvement ideas and more. The locally famous Jerry Kluver will be speaking on Saturday at 11:30 and 2:00 pm. If you have questions for him that you would like answered we have a place for you to enter them on our Home and Garden webpage! To find out who will be there and when and where everything is happening click on the link here in this blog. AND if we see you come in at Noon on Sunday to the show only to watch you realize that it is not 11 am opening time but Noon we will know that you forgot to spring ahead your clocks! Article Comments(1)hybernationMar-13-11 4:56 PM my husband recently visited the bahamas on a cruise, & he said it wasn't as glamorous as he'd imagined it would be. he said it was kind of dirty, & scuzzy there, & a lady came up to him & our daughter telling them to buy neckleces saying "donation for children" he thought "donation" meant give how much you want they were just cheap necklecess (in fact 1 broke right after they got it) & she was trying to put the neclecess on them & he got out like $4 or $5.00 & she said "no, no $5.00 each & my husband & daughter said she basically ran up to them & did, & said this so fast they didn't have time to stop to decide if they wanted them it was as if she was pushing/forcing them to buy them the way she was talking, & putting the necklecess on them. sounded to me like a begger??
