Honor Flight ride is Saturday

The American Legion Riders post 510 out of Farnhamville and the VFW post 5240 out of Dakota City are joining forces once again this year as they host the fourth annual Brush Creek Honor Flight Ride on Saturday, June 9. All the proceeds raised will be going to the Brushy Creek Honor Flight to help send area veterans to Washington D.C. to visit their memorials.
It will start off on Friday, June 8 with a pre-registration from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Sneakers on Central Avenue, We will also be registering riders on Saturday, June 9 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $20 per rider and $25 for rider and a passenger. The ride will be starting and ending at Sneakers in Fort Dodge Iowa.
The evening of June 9 we will be holding a raffle, silent auction, and a live auction of items to help raise the money for this worthy cause. There will also be live entertainment both nights.
