HARCOURT — Jane M. Konva­linka, 79, of Har­court, passed away Tues­day, April 17, 2018 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home and then 10:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church with Msgr. Kevin McCoy officiating the Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at Corpus Christi Cemetery. A visitation will be 4:00 to 8:00 Friday at the funeral home.

Jane is survived by her children, Debra Konvalinka of Harcourt; Daniel Konvalinka; Elaine (Kevin) Rubel; Kelly (Troy) Anderson all of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Kelsey (Ryan) Dornath; Kaitlyn (Jacob) Winge; Marissa Anderson; and Alisa Anderson; great-grandchildren, Adalyn and Everleigh Winge; brothers, Delbert, Donnie, Dale, Earl and Merlie Dencklau; sisters, LuVerna Wilson and Betty Anderson; many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Elfrieda (Koester) Dencklau; husband, Donald Konvalinka; brothers, Marlin; Harold; Larry; Richard; Leroy; Delmar; Allie; and sisters, Elaine Dencklau; Lorraine Larson and twin, Joan Adson.

Jane Marian Dencklau was born January 10, 1939 in Fort Dodge. She graduated from 8th grade Colfax #3 Country School, near the family home west of Vincent. On April 2, 1960 Jane was united in marriage to Donald Konvalinka in the Corpus Christi Church Rectory. The couple first established their home near Tara, then later moved to Harcourt in 1963. She was a very caring and loving mother dedicating her life to her family and the farm. She was the neighborhood Grandma to many. Her hobbies were gardening, baking and crafting. She especially loved going to casinos and playing cards with her mother, one aunt, sisters, and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and ZCBJ Bohemian Lodge 39.

Memorials will be left to the discretion of the family.
