Keith P. Martin, 91, of Fort Dodge, died Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Friendship Haven.

A service honoring Keith’s life will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 9, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. John Sersland officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation is 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Memorials may be directed to the discretion of the family.

Keith is survived by his children, Steve Martin and Kris Martin; his brother Kenny Martin, all of Fort Dodge; and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Pauline.

Keith Preston Martin, the son of Lowell and Dorothy (Nichols) Martin, was born January 2, 1927, at Somers. He graduated from Somers High School in 1945 and served in the United States Army. In 1952, Keith was united in marriage to Pauline Berg at Rockwell City. Keith worked for Tobin (Hormel) Packing for 37 years before retiring in 1983. He was employed part time at the YMCA and coached youth baseball for 53 years.

Keith was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church and enjoyed baseball, hunting and fishing. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Iowa Hawkeyes.
