FARNHAMVILLE — Bonnie M. Adam, 93, of Farnham­ville passed away Thurs­day, March 1, 2018 at Shady Oaks Care Center in Lake City.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, March 9th at 10:00 a.m. at First United Church in Farnhamville with Rev. Dr. James H. Chesnutt officiating. Burial will be in Reading Cemetery, Farnhamville. A visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Palmer & Sons Funeral Home, Gowrie.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Dennis Adam of West Branch, WI; Daryl (Linda) Adam of Farnhamville; and Donette Adam of Las Vegas, NV; 4 grandchildren; 5 step grand children; 8 great-grand children; and 10 step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin and Edna (Stranberg) Rushton; husband, Donald Adam; brother, Marlyn Rushton; sister, Amy Lawson; and grandsons, Brian and Daniel Adam.

Bonnie MarieRushton was born March 15, 1924, on a farm north of Farnhamville. She was raised and educated in Farnhamville; graduating from Farnhamville High School in 1942. In 1945, Bonnie was united in marriage to Donald Adam at the 1st United Church in Farnhamville. The couple established their home south of Slifer until moving to Farnhamville in 1976. Bonnie was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church, U.M.W. and the American Legion Auxiliary 510. For over 50 years, Bonnie was a member of the BE Tri-T Chapter. She enjoyed participating in the Neighbor Birthday Club and loved embroidery working, sharing it with others around her.
