David Benjamin Hill, 81, of Rowland Heights, California, passed away, Saturday, January 27, 2018, at his home.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, at Christ Church of the Valley (CCV), 1404 W. Covina Blvd. San Dimas, CA 91773. Reception will follow.
David was born February 15, 1936, in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Christine and Kernel Hill. He had 7 brothers and sisters. He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1955, served 5 years in the Air Force and 4 years in the National Guard. Graduated from Cerritos College of Long Beach, California with a degree in Business and Accounting. He worked for Los Angeles County Sanitation for 20+ years as a Foreman. He enjoyed outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and was a hard core wood worker/carver.
David is survived by his three sons, Keith Hill of Fort Dodge, IA, Kory Hill of Bellevue, NE, and Koby Hill and his wife Adra of Sioux City, IA. He has three grandchildren, Justin Hill, Jeremy Hill, and Josyln Hill. His wife Lana Lee of Rowland Heights, CA, her two children, Jansen Lee and Tina Lee.
