FARNHAMVILLE — Eula Mae Clutter 98, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Stewart Memorial Community Hospital, Lake City. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2017 at the First United Church, Farnhamville, with Rev. Dr. James H. Chesnutt officiating. Burial will be at Reading Township Cemetery, Farnhamville. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, at the Palmer Funeral Home, Gowrie. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.

Survivors include her children, Dorothy Jean (Art) Holloway, Fred (Sharlene) Vote, Ruth Ann (Jack) Burnell, and Bill (Eloise) Vote; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy Clabaugh; and step-children, Frances (Robert) Johnson, and Philip Clayton (Alanna) Clutter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orval and Hazel (Hicks) Tullis; first husband Clifford Vote in 1970; second husband Philip Clutter in 1991; step-children, Carol Knapp, and Gwen Johnson; and brother Lloyd Tullis.

Eula Mae Tullis was born December 25, 1918 at Rinard, Iowa and graduated from Rinard High School with the Class of 1937. She was united in marriage to Clifford Vote in 1937. They farmed in the Farnhamville area. Eula Mae worked at Shady Oaks Care Center for 8 years. In 1983, she married Philip Clutter and the couple lived in Farnhamville. Eula Mae was a member of First United Church, Senior Citizens, and the 500 Club.
