Dr. William T. “Nick” Beisser, age 63, passed away on January 22, 2017, at his home in Scotts­dale, AZ following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Fort Dodge, IA on June 5, 1953. His parents were J. Fred and Marian Beisser. He attended public school in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. He then attended Creighton University Medical School in Omaha, NE, where he graduated with a degree in medicine. He then trained at the Barrows Neurological Center in Phoenix, AZ for two years. He practiced as a neuro-radiologist in Flagstaff, AZ for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife Deanna, children Laura and Benoit, mother Marian Beisser, brother Kim (Sally) Beisser, nieces Andrea (George) Klinefelter and Sarah (David) Ling, and grandnieces Riley Marian Klinefelter and Gracie Anne Ling, aunt Marita Neslund, uncle Dennis (Kathy) Carroll, as well as numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father J. Fred Beisser, his grandparents, Lyle and Tilla Carroll and Fred W. and Blanche Beisser.

He loved playing golf and did so whenever possible.

Burial will be at a later date. The family has requested that memorials be left to Smile Train, P.O. Box 96321, Washington, D.C. 20090-6321. This organization provides cleft palate surgery for needy children.
