Knights of Columbus raise funds for Honor Flight

The Knights of Columbus Council 613 has set up a donation table to raise money for the Brushy Creek Area Honor Flights at the Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry for two years in a row. This money is used to send veterans to the World War II, Korean, Vietnam and Iwo Jima memorials and Arlington Cemetery in Washington, D.C., to honor their service. Pictured are Ron Newsum of Honor Flight receiving a check for $1,200 from Ray Crouse of Council 613. Crouse set up a table at each of the Fish Fry events and accepted donations and handed out pamphlets and applications for the flight.
