Encounter with Heaven concert will feature harp music
Grace Lutheran Church will host Encounters with Heaven, a concert of Heavenly Harp music at 7 p.m. on Thursday. The evening will feature the mother and son duo Karin and Ryan Gunderson performing traditional and popular pieces ranging from “What a Wonderful World” to “It is Well with My Soul” arranged for harp, piano, Native American flute and voices.
Karin, who has worked as a hospice harpist, will share stories from her work and her book “Encounters with Heaven — Stories of God’s Surprising Presence.”
