County attorney recommends raises
The budget for the Webster County attorney’s office remains largely unchanged, with the exception of raises for both attorneys and clerks.
In his budget proposal to the Webster County Board of Supervisors, County Attorney Darren Driscoll is requesting a $120,000 in principal salary and $340,232 in deputy salary.
He said he’s also working with human resources to figure out the correct budget for the office’s clerks, as human resources is reclassifying the pay scales for clerks.
Driscoll also told the board that he’s interested in finding ways to save money, and he and First Assistant County Attorney Ryan Baldridge are looking at their overall budget to see if they can find ways to do that.
