Forum can be streamed live

Voters will hear from the candidates running in local and state races by using an online link to the Election Forum tonight.

Nine candidates will speak starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Bioscience and Health Sciences Center at Iowa Central Community College.

Anyone in attendance will have the chance to submit questions. All questions will be written on notecards and then asked by the moderator.

Candidates speaking will be:

• Democrat Brenda Angstrom and Republican Kate Stucky, who are seeking to become the next Webster County treasurer.

• 5:50 p.m., Democrat Niki Conrad, Republican incumbent Merrill Leffler and independent candidate Eugene Newsome, running for Webster County supervisor from District 4.

• 6:30 p.m., Republican Ann Meyer and Democrat Megan Srinivas, running for Iowa House of Representatives from District 9.

• 7:15 p.m., Republican incumbent Tim Kraayenbrink and Democrat John O’Brien, running for Iowa Senate District 5.

The forum is sponsored by the Greater Fort Dodge Growth Alliance and Iowa Central Community College.
