Fireside Chat at Camp WaNoKi Thursday
COALVILLE — Webster County Conservation Naturalist Karen Hansen is holding a Fireside Chat at Camp WaNoKi from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
Hansen will be focusing on owls of Iowa before setting out into the woods to call owls in. There will be a guided hike through the woods as darkness descends on the evening.
Bring a bag chair, comfy hiking shoes and a friend or family member. Camp WaNoKi is located one mile east of Coalville (235th Street) and one mile south on WaNoKi Camp Road.
The event is free. Fireside Chats will also be held on July 12, Aug. 9, Sept. 13 and Oct. 11.
