Boil advisory set for small area of Fort Dodge Friday
A boil advisory has been issued for five Fort Dodge addresses following a water main break Friday morning.
Those addresses are:
• 9 S. First St.
• 102 First Ave. S.
• 202 First Ave. S.
• 228 First Ave. S.
• 14 S. Third St.
People at those addresses are urged to boil water before drinking it. The water should boil for one minute, according to the Fort Dodge Public Works Department.
No other areas of Fort Dodge are affected.
The water main break has been repaired. Water samples will be collected for bacteria testing.
