Campidilli will head Hamilton supervisors
WEBSTER CITY — Dan Campidilli was elected Tuesday morning to serve as the chairman of the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors.
The board held its annual reorganizational meeting Tuesday morning at the start of the new year.
Supervisor Doug Bailey was named the chairman pro-tem.
Availa Bank, First State Bank, Iowa Falls State Bank of Williams, US Bank Stratford Branch and WCF Financial Bank were named as depositories for county funds.
A resolution to set the master matrix was approved.
“That is put in place again for another year,” said Campidilli.
“Really without the master matrix resolution, we waive what limited input we have,” said Supervisor David Young.
The master matrix is a scoring system that can be used to evaluate the siting of permitted confinement feeding operations. Counties that have adopted a construction evaluation resolution can use the master matrix.
The Daily Freeman-Journal, the Stratford Courier and the South Hamilton Record News were named the official county newspapers.
