TSA changes rules at Fort Dodge Regional Airport

The Transportation Security Administration has recently announced it has implemented stronger security procedures at the Fort Dodge Regional Airport.

Passengers will now have to remove all electronics larger than a cell phone from their carry on bags and place them in a bin when going through screening.

While this procedure has been used for laptop computers for years, according to the TSA, the additional step is to help their officers obtain a clearer X-ray image.

The items allowed as carry on have not changed.
