Xenia Rural Water District boil advisory lifted
DAYTON — A boil advisory that was issued for Xenia Rural Water customers west of the Des Moines River in Calhoun and Webster counties has been lifted, according to a news release from Xenia Rural Water District.
A large water main break east of Dayton caused the boil advisory to be issued Sunday.
The water main break was reported on 330th Street near Washington Avenue in Webster County.
About 465 customers were impacted, according to Doug Wiles, water technician for Xenia.
It’s not known what caused the break, according to Wiles.
