FDSH Speech Spectacular is tonight
Fort Dodge Senior High will host its Speech Spectacular tonight at 6 p.m. in the Little Theater. The free performance is open to the public.
According to Lindey Krug, FDSH speech coach, the Speech Spectacular is an opportunity for the students to perform their large group pieces in front of an audience prior to the district competition.
The speech team will then participate in District Large Group Speech Contest Jan. 21 beginning at 8 a.m. at the Manson Northwest Webster High School. The group has prepared 18 entries for the contest. The public is invited to attend and a $3 suggested donation will be taken as admission at the door.
“We are very excited about our team this year,” stated Krug. “The kids have been practicing hard and we’re looking forward to a great day of competition.”
