King Ringer Handbell concert is Nov. 27

Kick off your Holiday season at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church when it hosts the King Ringer Handbell Ensemble in concert at 4 p.m. on Nov. 27 at the church, 1436 21st Ave. N.

The ensemble will perform “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “He is Born”, arranged by John Behnke. A contemporary “Go Tell It On the Mountain”, with percussion and “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” arranged by Joel Raney.

Other secular pieces will be “Jingle Bell Boogie”, with setting by Dan R. Edwards and “Jingle Bell Rock”, arranged for bells by Douglas Wagner. “Patapan” arranged by Cathy Moklebust, a former Eagle Grove resident, will be included in the program. Delaney Pfister will perform a handbell solo arrangement of “O Holy Night” assisted by Dave Swaroff, arranged by Jason W. Krug. Joan Ardnt and Janine Niemeyer will present “Carol of the Bells” as a bell duet using a bell tree. Refreshments will be served and a freewill offering will be received.
