Fort Dodge firefighters finish extinguishing a fire in a pickup truck Friday evening. The fire in the 1400 block of First Avenue North was reported at about 5:30 p.m. The Chevrolet pickup had fire damage to the engine and passenger compartment. A man was checked by paramedics at the scene but was not taken to the hospital.
