At the Haven for the holiday

Skye Long, left, and Jersey Grall, both first-graders, get a hand from Blythe Edge putting together refrigerator magnets Monday morning at Friendship Haven. Students from first and second grade at Community Christian School have been visiting Friendship Haven all school year to make crafts — but especially to make friends. For this craft, they glued together popsicle sticks into a frame, with Christmas cards in the center. Edge said she’s been coming to these events since the school started, and it has been a lot of fun.
