Moorland man accused of shooting gun in Fort Dodge trailer park

Tanner Lowe faces felony charges

A Moorland man is facing multiple felony charges after he allegedly fired a gun inside of a Fort Dodge trailer park last week.

Tanner E. Lowe, 26, is charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, going armed with intent and possession of a firearm as a felon, all felony charges.

Lowe allegedly went to the Village Green Mobile Home Park, 3102 N. 15th St., on Feb. 15 and fired six shots from a .45-caliber semi-automatic handgun, according to the criminal complaint filed with the Webster County attorney’s office.

Nobody was hurt in the incident.

Lowe had previously been convicted of carrying weapons in 2017.

He made his initial appearance on all three charges Thursday morning in Webster County Magistrate Court.

Magistrate William Habhab ordered Lowe held on a total $20,000 cash-only bond.

Lowe’s preliminary hearing has been set for March 2.
