FORT DODGE — Triple Threat Extreme, presented by Broadway Dreams, is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. SATURDAY and SUNDAY at The United All Stars building, 214 S. 13th St. This is a more advanced workshop setting for those serious about taking the next step in musical theatre. FORT DODGE — Stage Door Productions presents “Cabaret, A Night of Musical Theatre,” at 7 p.m. TODAY at the Smeltzer House, 1019 Second Ave. S. Doors open at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $20 for ages 10 and up. Ticket includes show, appetizers and beverages.

FORT DODGE — Webster County Conservation Fall Park Festival is 3 to 6 p.m. SUNDAY at Kennedy Park, 1415 Nelson Ave. There will be outdoor activities throughout the park including bow and arrow, BB guns, tomahawks, atlatls, kayaking, canoeing, Dragon Boat rides, fishing, geocaching, hayrack rides, REC challenge course, live raptor from SOAR and concessions for sale. The festival is free.

FORT DODGE — Iowa Central Community College Fall Play, “The Election,” is 7 p.m. TODAY and SATURDAY in Decker Auditorium on the Iowa Central campus. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for students and free for Iowa Central students.
FORT DODGE — Webster County Conservation is holding a Fall Colors Hike at 4 p.m. SATURDAY at Kennedy Park, 1415 Nelson Ave. Join Erin Ford for a woodland hike focusing on Iowa’s fall tree color display. The event is free.
FORT DODGE — Fort Dodge Parks and Recreation is hosting a Rated R Movie on the Monster at 8 p.m. TODAY at Harlan and Hazel Rogers Sports Complex Diamond 6 (slow pitch side), 1628 Nelson Ave. “Friday the 13th” will be shown. Concessions and beer will be available. Bring blankets and lawn chairs. If weather is questionable, check Fort Dodge Parks and Recreation Facebook page or call the weather line at 576-6888. Due to this being a rated R movie, there are some strict guidelines. No children under the age of 6 will be permitted inside the gate. Children ages 6 to 16 are required to be accompanied by an adult that is 21 and older. Gate attendants will be checking IDs for all who enter through the gate. If age is questionable, additional identification may be required.
FORT DODGE — Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 920 Third Ave. S., is holding an Open Studio from 2 to 5 p.m. SATURDAY. Class is limited to participants 16 years and older and a limit of 10 participants. Cost is $5 if you bring your own supplies or $15 to use the Blanden’s supplies. If participants want to work with clay, there is a $20 firing fee plus $15 per 25 pound bag of clay.
FORT DODGE — Blanden Memorial Art Museum, 920 Third Ave. S., is holding “Stick-Start” Abstractions SATURDAY. Class for 6 to 9 year olds is 10 a.m. to noon and 10 to 14 year olds is 1 to 3 p.m. There is a limit of 12 students in each session. Cost is $10 for members and $15 for non-members.
FORT DODGE — Grace Lutheran Church, 211 S. Ninth St., is hosting Jive for Five! Brass Quintet and organist Bruce Perry presenting A Mighty Fortress at 3 p.m. SUNDAY. Admission is by freewill donation.
FORT DODGE — Ballroom Buddies is holding an Eagles Dance from 8 to 11 p.m. TODAY at the Eagles Ballroom, 1018 First Ave. N. Music will be 50s, 60s, 70s, country and more. There will be a dance lesson at 7:15 p.m. Admission is $10 per person.
FORT DODGE — The Messenger presents the Younkers 2017 Bridal Spectacular from 1 to 4 p.m. SUNDAY in the Career Education Building on the Iowa Central Community College campus, One Triton Circle. Admission for brides and grooms is $5. Additional guests are free. Brides and grooms can register to win over $1,000 in prizes from vendors.

WEBSTER CITY — The Kendall Young Library, Webster City, is holding a Perler Bead Creations class from 2 to 3:30 p.m. SATURDAY. The class is for kindergarten to fifth grade students. Students will make their own Perler Bead creation.
LEHIGH — “Quilts in the Valley” is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. SUNDAY at the Lehigh Historical Society and the Lehigh Community Center, Lehigh. The event is free and open to the public.
EAGLE GROVE — Eagle Grove Lions Club is holding its annual Pancake Breakfast from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. SUNDAY at Memorial Hall. Tickets are $6 with children 3 and under free.
CALLENDER — Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Callender, is holding its Ninth annual Hand-Breaded Pork Tenderloin Supper is 4:30 to 7 p.m. SATURDAY at the church. The menu includes tenderloin sandwich, salads, chips, dessert bars and ice cream. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for fifth grade children and younger (half sandwich). Carry-outs will be available. Proceeds will go toward new sanctuary lighting.
HUMBOLDT — SpringVale Farm is holding its 12th annual Pumpkins and Ponies event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. SATURDAY at the farm, 2603 Lone Tree Road. There will be pumpkins of all sizes, pony rides, wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, photos, Mile High Stagecoach show and rides, Dragonfire Dancing Horses, live music by The Expressions, antique plowing demonstrations, musical puppet shows by Badger Lutheran Church Youth, vendors and food. Rain date is 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday. The event and parking are free.
EMMETSBURG — Emmetsburg Retail Association is holding Fall Fest from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. SATURDAY at the Chamber of Commerce. There will be a chili feed, hayrides and fall fun for all ages.
DAYTON — McGuire Bend United Bretheren Church, rural Dayton, is holding its annual Fall Supper and Bazaar SATURDAY at the church. The freewill donation supper will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. with chili, homemade vegetable beef soup, beefburgers, pie and drink. The auction begins at 7 p.m.
ROCKWELL CITY — The Calhoun County Historical Society is sponsoring a Free Ballroom Dance from 6:30 to 9 p.m. SUNDAY at the museum. Music will be provided by Denny Anderson’s 9 piece Al Welsh Orchestra. There will be pop, coffee, bars and popcorn served.
DAKOTA CITY — Dakota City VFW is holding a Dance from 7:30 to 11 p.m. TODAY. Eddie & The Tributes will perform country and rock and roll music. Cover charge is $5.
