Reward offered for stolen items

Bicyclist is riding across the country

Webster County Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the recovery of a stolen passport, camera and SD cards that were taken from a man on a cross-country bike trip.

The items were stolen from the Fort Dodge Hardee’s, 6 S. 15th St., Thursday night.

According to the Fort Dodge Police Department, the man’s bicycle and other items were stolen while he was inside the restaurant.

The bike was recovered Friday, but the other items are missing.

The missing items contain photos the victim has taken throughout his cross-country trip.

Anyone with information on where the missing items are is asked to contact the Fort Dodge Police Department at 573-1426 or Webster County Crime Stoppers at 573-1444.
