57 E-Hawks moving on

Will Schany was the valedictorian of the Class of 2017. Schany thanked his classmates for memories to last a lifetime from their school days, and reminded his classmates that “Once an E-Hawk, we will always be E-Hawks!” during his remarks at Emmetsburg High School’s Commencement Sunday afternoon.
Bailey Naig, left, and Allison Freeman, right, along with Sarah Pugh, were the co-salutatorians for the Class of 2017. Naig and Freeman spoke during Emmetsburg’s commencement exercises Sunday afternoon of how fortunate the Class of 2017 was to have received their education in top-notch facilities from caring teachers and enjoying the support of their families and the entire community during their school careers.
The members of the Class of 2017 let fly with confetti, silly string and their mortarboards as they were officially termed graduates of Emmetsburg High School. A total of 57 diplomas were awarded to the Class of 2017 during commencement exercises on Sunday afternoon.
