UPDATE: 4 men arrested in FD in connection with overnight Ames shooting
Four men have been arrested in Fort Dodge in connection with a drive-by shooting that injured three people in Ames early Sunday morning, according to a news release from the Fort Dodge Police Department.
Terrion Maxfield, 20, and Desmon R. Siner, 19, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, have been charged with attempted murder, a class B felony.
Charles Smith, 20, and Traveion D. Henry, also of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, were later charged with attempted murder, aiding and abetting, a class B felony, the Ames Police Department reported.
All four were located in Fort Dodge, the Ames Police Department reported.
The shooting in Ames occurred a short time after 1:30 a.m., according to the Ames Police Department.
Three victims were treated for gunshot wounds at the scene, Ames Police reported.
One was transported to a hospital in Des Moines.
The other two victims were transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.
The victims’ injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening, according to Ames Police.
Maxfield and Siner suffered gunshot wounds and were later located at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, according to Fort Dodge Police.
Maxfield and Siner were released with non-life-threatening injuries and are being held in the Webster County Jail.
