Pizza Ranch franchisees chosen for impact award
ORANGE CITY — Pizza Ranch Inc. awarded its annual Community Impact Award to franchisees Brad and Shirley Davis at the company’s 2018 National Conference held in St. Paul, Minnesota, on June 11-13th. The Davises own three Pizza Ranch locations in Iowa: Fort Dodge, Manchester and Oelwein.
“The winner of this award has an amazing heart for those with special needs. Their community impact is truly felt,” said Perry Krosschell, the Pizza Ranch chief vision officer. “For 20 years they’ve raised funds for their local Camp Courageous, providing opportunities for social and personal growth for campers with special needs. And they’ve donated nearly $30,000 over this time. … Brad and Shirley are very intentional about hiring those with special needs to help serve their communities. They have shown a personal and passionate desire to get the right folks in their restaurants to make an impact with service from the heart.”
The Community Impact Award recognizes a franchisee or ranch that has made a positive impact in their community and lives out the Pizza Ranch vision, “To Glorify God by Positively Impacting the World.”
The Davises were awarded $1,000 for receiving the Community Impact Award to donate to a local charity of their choosing. The donation will go to Rahab’s House, helping provide transitional housing for families in community.
