SPORTS: Brandon Wade, an incoming senior at Rockwell City-Lytton, tied for first place in the LA Gear Slam-N-Jam National Invitational slam dunk contest.

50 Years ago: July 24, 1968

NEWS: Lyn Marie Draper and Mark Polk married in the morning of July 20 at Lutheran Hospital so her father, a patient, could attend. They repeated their vows that afternoon at the Vincent United Methodist Church.

SPORTS: Goldfield beat Lohrville 17-12 in softball.
