FDCSD announces winter concert series

The Fort Dodge Community School District has announced its seventh through 12th grade winter concert series.

All performances will take place at the Fort Dodge Middle School auditorium and are open to the public.

“The students are excited to showcase their talents for their families and the community,” said Matt Drees, FDSH vocal instructor. “We hope community members come support our students and enjoy some outstanding music at one or several of these performances.”

• Dec. 3: 7-8 Grade Band Winter Concert at 7 p.m. Admission is $1 per person with a maximum charge of $3 per family.

• Dec. 4: 5-6 Grade Band Winter Concert with fifth grade at 6:30 p.m. followed by sixth grade at 7:30.

• Dec. 6: 5-8 Grade Orchestra Winter Concert at 7 p.m.

• Dec. 9: FDSH Instrumental Winter Concert at 2 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for students with a family maximum of $5.

• Dec.11: 5-6 Grade Choir Winter Concert at 7 p.m.

• Dec.13: FDSH Yuletide Choir Concert at 7 p.m. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for students with a family maximum of $5.

• Dec.18: 7-8 Grade Choir Winter Concert at 7 p.m. Admission is $1 per person with a maximum charge of $3 per family.
