Teresa Naughton attends Leadership Institute
Teresa Naughton, executive director of LifeWorksCommunity Services, recently attended the 2018 Leadership Institute at the University of Delaware in January.
The National Leadership Consortium on Developmental Disabilities offered the training.
It was sponsored by the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, the Council on Quality Leadership, the ANCOR Foundation, The National Association of State Directors of Developmental Disabilities Services, the University of Delaware’s Department of Human Development & Family Sciences, the National Association of Direct Support Professionals, and the Human Services Research Institute.
Topics covered included challenges and trends in the industry, transforming services from facility-based to community-based models, understanding individual leadership styles and outcome measurement.
Naughton has been with LifeWorks Community Services since 1993. She is a Licensed Bachelor of Social Work.
The mission of LifeWorks Community Services is to provide opportunities for growth and achievement to people with disabilities who face barriers to independence and integration in employment and daily living.
