Charlene Kelley and Brennan Vaverek join LifeWorks board
Charlene Kelley and Brennan Vaverek have joined the LifeWorks Community Services board of directors.
Kelley is a substitute teacher in the Southeast Valley School District. She a member of the LifeWorks Charitable Foundation board of directors, is involved with Christian education at Dayton’s United Methodist Church and is a Special Olympics coach. Kelley has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Northern Iowa.
Vaverek is a vice president-senior loan officer at Bank Iowa in Humboldt. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Lion’s Club. Vaverek is on the board of directors for the Grotto of the Redemption and for St. Mary’s School. He is also the board president for West Fork Services. Vaverek received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas State University.
The mission of LifeWorks Community Services is to provide opportunities for growth and achievement to persons with disabilities who face barriers to independence and integration in employment and daily living. LifeWorks serves more than 200 people with disabilities in residential, vocational and day programming in Webster, Humboldt and surrounding counties.
The mission of the LifeWorks Charitable Foundation is to provide financial support to LifeWorks Community Services in its work with individuals with disabilities.
