Titonka Indian Days is Friday through Sunday

TITONKA — Indian Days 2017 will begin on Friday with Magic by Mr. Jayes at 4 p.m. at Titonka Public Library; 5 p.m., face painting at Pocket Park; 5:30 p.m., Kiddie Pedal Tractor Pull on Main Street, register at Pocket Park; 5:30 p.m., Walking Taco Fundraiser at Pocket Park; 8 p.m., BaffaGLO 5K Run/Walk at Titonka Public Library, registration begins at 7 p.m.; 10 p.m., fireworks.

Saturdays line-up begins with a parade at 10 a.m.; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., grilled hamburger & hot dog meals, at Gruis Park shelter house; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., free watermelon, at Gruis Park shelter house; 1 p.m., Firemen’s Food Stand at the football field; 1 p.m., BINGO, at the west end of Gruis Park shelter house; 1 p.m., Bean Bag Tournament, at the football field; 2 p.m., human foosball tournament, at the football field; 2 p.m. Firemen’s Water Fights, at the football field.

Sunday’s events are a Joint Community Worship at 10 p.m. at Good Hope Lutheran Church; a Firemen’s Car Show and freewill dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and a Pinewood Derby at noon at the firestation, bring your own car to race.
