ISU Outreach to offer ‘Cooking for One’

Sometimes cooking for one or two may seem like a lot of work and trouble. If you feel this way, you are not alone. One- and two-person households are the fastest growing segment of the population. The US has more than 70 million one- and two-person households which is over 60 percent of the households in the US. However, everyone wants to feel good and stay healthy to continue to live independently and enjoy life. Come and hear about how to Cook for One and tips on staying healthy and active. Join us at 6 p.m., Jan. 26 at the Webster County Extension and Outreach Office located at the southeast corner of the Crossroads Mall. Cost is $10. The fees for service will be used to offset direct expenses and to support the Human Sciences County Extension Program.
